While we recommend a minimum of 2-3 weeks in advance, we may be able to accommodate your order with shorter notice. In order to enhance total customer satisfaction, we are now requiring a minimum of 72 hours notice for all orders. Please keep in mind that your order or tasting is not booked until payment is made. We work on a first come, first serve basis and priority booking goes to our paying customers. 
Your desserts are important to us, so please take the time to check the details of your quote/order carefully and notify us of any errors or missing information. We work closely off the information on our invoices & contracts and are not liable for any errors (i.e. misspelling of names, incorrect dates/delivery times, color schemes, flavors, amounts, etc) to your desserts that are not otherwise specified on the invoices. We read through hundreds of emails and answer multiple calls on a weekly basis and therefore simply cannot remember every detail. It is your responsibility to contact us of any mistakes or changes required to your original order. Thank you for your understanding!

Please note that tiered cakes, fondant covered cakes & edible designs vary in price, depending on complexity of the design & the time it takes to create your edible work of art. Tastings & Consultations
​Consultations & tastings are typically booked 2-4 weeks in advance. Consultations without tastings are complimentary. Although we do charge a fee for our custom tastings, we credit 50% of the tasting to orders of $300 or greater. Tastings are now scheduled Thursday & Friday evenings. Please inquire for available dates/times. 

Breakdown of costs:
1/2 dozen mini cupcakes per flavor
A choice of up to 5 flavors per tasting
Example: 3 flavors (1 1/2 dozen mini cupcakes total) = $30

If you decide to book with us, up to 50% (from the first tasting) will be credited if the order is over $300. 
You are welcome to bring home any extra cupcakes that you do not finish at the tasting to share with family & friends.

If you choose to opt out of the custom tasting, we can put together a box of extras from one of our wedding orders for you to pick-up on a different date, completely complimentary! We choose the flavors and the date. 

We are no longer offering tastings of our dessert bar items and apologize for any inconvenience. Often times, we will have extras of our dessert bar items from various events and will gladly put together some extras for you (complimentary) Just ask!:) 

Please also note that tastings are not secured unless payment for the tasting is made in advance.

Refund Policy on Deposits/Payments Made
While we understand that unfortunate circumstances may arise, we regret that we cannot refund deposits or payments made. We will however, work with you to credit your deposit (or up to 50%) for a future order and is determined on a case by case basis. Thank you for your understanding!

Orders are delivered straight to your door or event location. Our cupcake boxes come with individual inserts to prevent tipping.  

Free delivery to addresses that are located in the 92121, 92126, & 92129 zip codes. Otherwise, a fee of $15-$40 will be charged for areas located within San Diego County. Locations in the greater San Diego County or further will be priced by location & time. Please inquire for specific pricing.

If you would like to wave the delivery charge, you are welcome to pick-up at our facility (scheduled pick-ups only Tuesday - Friday only) OR meet us at a convenient location during our delivery route. All weekend orders require delivery due to a strict delivery/event schedule. 

Stands & Displays
We have a variety of stands & displays available for rent. We charge a flat fee of $100 which includes full use of any available stands. All rentals include dessert labels and pick-up! Pick-ups after 1030pm will be charged an additional $25. For locations further than 30 miles, an extra charge of $50 will be added. Please inquire for more information.

Dessert Care
Most of our desserts are best enjoyed the day they are made. However, they will keep fresh for up to 2-3 days at room temperature if stored in air tight containers. Any cakes containing fresh fruit, cheesecakes, fruit tarts, lemon bars, panna cotta, and chocolate covered strawberries must be stored in the refrigerator. Although our cakes are best eaten at room temperature, you may refrigerate. Just make sure to leave them out at room temperature for a couple hours as refrigeration often dries out the cakes.

Our frostings are made without the use of hydrogenated shortenings that may inhibit melting. While we make every effort to ensure stability and consistency with other all-natural forms of thickeners, please note that we are not responsible for melting if our cakes are left out in heat or under direct sunlight. We regret that we are also not responsible for accidents once the desserts leave our hands. 

Set-up is included with most cake and smaller dessert orders. Larger events or more complex dessert set-ups will be charged an additional set-up fee of $50. We reserve the right to take photos of any of our work.
